Photo Album: Water Leaking into the Basement, Laconia, NH
A Laconia, New Hampshire homeowner has been dealing with water entering their basement for the past decade. Frustrated with the periodic flooding, they sought out a solution to stop it once and for all, as they plan to finish the basement. EFS was contacted for a free inspection, and Design Specialist Jared Pavluvcik identified where the water was entering and suggested installing WaterGuard, SuperSump, IceGuard, and a SaniDry Sedona.
The installation team, led by Branden Edwards, began by chipping out a 6-inch wide trench around the entire perimeter of the basement and a space for the sump pump. They then installed the SuperSump and perimeter drainage, plumbing the system to the exterior of the home to expel all collected water away from the foundation. After testing the system, they mixed and poured concrete to lock everything in place. The final installation was a SaniDry Sedona to control moisture in the basement.
The homeowner was thrilled with the results and can now move forward with finishing their basement without the worry of water damage.
