Pool Deck Settlement
During the inspection, our specialist found the concrete had settled about 2 inches near the coping of the pool. As the soil beneath the slab eroded away, there was nothing left to support the concrete, eventually leading to settlement.
Concrete Trip Hazard
View of the trip hazard at the edge of the pool. The community needed to have this sunken concrete problem fixed before a resident got hurt.
Preparing to Inject PolyLevel
The crew takes measurements and drills in specific areas of the concrete slab. This ensures when the PolyLevel is injected, the foam is reaching all areas beneath the slab and filling all the voids.
Pool Deck Leveled
This is the section of concrete that had 2 inches of settlement. Once the PolyLevel was injected and the foam expanded, the concrete came right up with no issues. This photo shows how the foam has actually poked up in places through joints and cracks, ensuring that the entire void beneath is full. This extra foam with be removed and the surface cleaned up prior to the crew leaving.
