Photo Album: Water Consistently Seeping into Basement, Boxford, MA
A Boxford, Massachusetts homeowner had been dealing with water seepage in their basement since they moved in twenty years ago, preventing them from using the space for storage. To address the issue, they reached out to EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist, Michael LaMalfa, conducted a thorough examination and recommended a series of installations, including WaterGuard, TrenchDrain, SuperSump, and FloodRing to prevent water seepage in the future.
Our installation team, led by Branden Edwards, chipped out a 6-inch wide trench around the perimeter of the basement and installed the SuperSump after removing a section of concrete. They also installed TrenchDrain around the oil tank and water heater, and a Flood Ring for added security. All the drainage systems were integrated into the SuperSump before the team poured concrete over the perimeter drainage, SuperSump, and TrenchDrain.
The homeowner was delighted with the installation, which finally put an end to the water seepage and allowed them to use their basement for storage for the first time in two decades.
