A family in Nashua, New Hampshire has owned their home for over 30 years, which included a pool in the backyard. After enduring countless seasons, the pool deck has developed cracks in the concrete. In need of a solution, the homeowners contacted EFS for assistance. Our Design Specialist, Isaac Hernandez, visited the property to inspect the pool deck and recommended the use of NexusPro to seal the cracks, as well as NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal the concrete joints. Isaac also suggested lifting and leveling the concrete slab in the corner near the pool house.
Our Installation Team, led by Steve Maggio, began by injecting PolyLevel beneath the concrete to lift and level the area near the pool house. They then proceeded to seal over 370 feet of cracks throughout the pool deck using NexusPro. The team also used a "spoon" to ensure even distribution of the Nexus. Finally, they sealed 60 feet of control joints around the pool using NexusPro Joint Sealant.
The homeowners were thrilled with the results of our work and can now enjoy their pool deck worry-free this summer.
