These homeowners in Reading, MA were concerned with the overall condition of their concrete pool deck. There were several cracks throughout the surface, uneven sections, and a few trip hazards as well. They were seeking a solution to fix their concrete without having to tear it out for replacement. While the cracks were in the surface, the underlying concern with the patio was the erosion of soil beneath it which was causing settlement. Our team designed and proposed a solution to lift, level, and stabilize the entire patio with PolyLevel. This slab repair process involves injecting a polymer foam beneath the concrete to fill all the voids that formed over the years. As the foam expands, the concrete rises, and our crew is able to control the results of the lift to within 1/8 of an inch. In some sections, our team successfully raised the sunken pool deck 1 inch.  Once the lift and level process was complete, our specialists then also sealed all the cracks and joints with NexusPro, a long-lasting, silicone based caulking designed specifically for outdoor applications. The homeowners were very pleased with the results and no longer had to worry about trip hazards or unsightly cracks around their pool.
