Photo Album: Vertical Crack in Basement Was Leaking, Danvers, MA
A homeowner in Danvers, Massachusetts, had a vertical crack in their basement that was allowing water to come in during heavy rains. The homeowner wanted to stop the water from coming into the basement so they reached out to EFS for a free inspection of the basement. Our Design Specialist John inspected the basement and recommended installing Flexispan over the crack to prevent water from entering the basement.
Our installation team began by chipping out concrete beneath the crack and then cleaning out the crack. Once chipped and cleaned the team then covered the crack with a membrane to prevent water from penetrating into the basement. The water will then drain down through the concrete and under the home. Lastly, the team will pour new concrete over the chipped concrete to cover the bottom of the Flexispan.
