This coffee restaurant in Dedham, MA was having issues with their outdoor dining patio. The concrete was cracked and uneven throughout the surface. This was leading to trip hazards, and making it difficult for moving chairs and tables around easily. Rather than demolish and replace the entire concrete patio, our specialist proposed PolyLevel foam injection as the ideal solution to lift, level, and stabilize the concrete without having to remove or replace anything.
The other great benefit of our PolyLevel solution for the restaurant, was that repairs would take only a day. Our production team injected their PolyLevel and fixed the entire patio in a single day. Customers and patrons were able to walk on the concrete within minutes. With the concrete patio stabilized and safe, the restaurant was able to setup their outdoor dining area for the summer season.
Large Concrete Crack
This section at the edge of the patio had a large crack due to erosion beneath the concrete. After the concrete was stabilized and leveled, the surface crack was sealed. As the sealant cures and dries, the crew also applies a sand texture over the top to help it blend in, creating a more finished look.
Level Concrete
These concrete slabs were uneven when the crew arrived. They successfully lifted and leveled the surface, saving the property owner from having to remove and replace the entire patio.
PolyLevel Concrete Repair
The port holes where the PolyLevel material is injected are tiny, and filled after installation. Once the surface is cleaned up with water, the holes will become invisible, and no evidence of repairs will be seen.
