A homeowner in Alton, New Hampshire, had recently noticed their foundation begin to settle. They reached out to EFS to look at their foundation and our Design Specialist Jason recommended installing Helical Piers and NexusPro to eliminate the settlement and seal the cracks in the basement.
Our installation team started by chipping out concrete from inside the basement. The team then dig down to the footing of the foundation and began driving in Helical Piers until they reached sufficient pressure. The team then secured the pier to the bracket and then the bracket to the foundation. After everything was secured the team covered the piers with dirt and then mixed concrete and repoured the basement floor. While the concrete was curing the team then used NexusPro to to seal 12' of cracks in the basement.
Helical Pier
The team installed 7 Helical Piers to the foundation of the home.
Prepping For Concrete
The team installed all of the Helical Piers and then installed rebar before pouring new concrete.
Concrete Repoured
The team repoured the concrete where we chipped it out to install the Helical Piers.
