Photo Album: Water Seeping Into Basement, Beverly, MA
A homeowner in Beverly, Massachusetts, has lived in their home for just over a month and has seen water seeping into their basement. They decided to call EFS for an inspection of their basement and our Design Specialist Tom recommended installing a full perimeter drainage system with a sump pump. The system will collect any water that tries to enter from beneath the home, from the walls, or from bulkhead or other sources.
Our Installation team began by chipping out the concrete around the perimeter of the basement so our team could install the WaterGuard to collect any water that attempts to enter the basement. While chipping out the perimeter the team also chipped out a basin for our TripleSafe sump pump. After the chipping was complete the team then inserted the sump into the basin and plumbed the system to the exterior of the home. After the sump was plumbed our team then installed 112' of WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Once the WaterGuard was placed in the trench the team then coated the drainage with crushed stone and then poured concrete over the top to lock it in place.

Before Perimeter Drainage
Water was seeping into the basement of the home since the homeowners moved into the home about a month ago.
Concrete Chipped Out
The team chipped out the concrete around the entire perimeter of the basement and installed our WaterGuard and TripleSafe.
WaterGuard Installed
The team installed the WaterGuard and covered it with concrete.
TripleSafe Intergrated with WaterGaurd
The team integrated the TripleSafe and WaterGuard together, so any water from the drainage system will be drained into the sump pump and pumped to the outside of the home.
