Photo Album: Water Seepage into Basement, Lowell, MA
A homeowner in Lowell, Massachusetts, had water seeping into their basement. The homeowner noticed the water start seeping into the basement after an addition was built onto the home. The homeowner had a sump pump installed in the basement but somehow water was still seeping onto the floor in the basement. Our Design Specialist inspected the basement and recommended installing 47' of WaterGuard to the left of the existing sump pump and then also installing a SaniDry Dehumidifier.
We started by chipping out 47' of concrete to the left of the existing SuperSump. After the team chipped out the concrete we placed the WaterGuard in the trench and linked them together. Once together the team then performed a water test to ensure the water that enters the drainage with be directed to the sump pump. After, we mix up concrete and pour it over the WaterGuard to lock it in place. While the concrete was curing the team installed the SaniDry Sedona next to the sump pump. The team then fed the discharge line into the sump pump and tested it to ensure it would drain properly.
