Photo Album: Brick Foundation Settling, Amesbury, MA
A homeowner in Amesbury, Massachusetts, lives in an older home and has seen their brick foundation wall continue to settle over the past couple of years. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Nate Erickson inspected the brick foundation and recommended installing 3 Helical Piers and a concrete GradeBeam onto it. The GradeBeam will assist will the lifting of the brick foundation.
Our Installation Team began by driving the 3 Helical Piers under the brick foundation until they reach sufficient pressure. Once at pressure the team then slides the Helical Piers into our Pier Bracket and secured it to the foundation wall. After the team secured all three of the piers to the foundation wall the team began to set up forms around the piers so we could pour our GradeBeam. Once cured the team removed the forms and lifted the brick foundation back to its original position.
