A homeowner in Hampton, New Hampshire, had seen water seeping through the floor of their basement. The homeowners have a TripleSafe installed in their basement and the water was bypassing the system because it was going straight through the floor. The homeowner has gotten tired of cleaning up water in their basement so they reached out to EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist Tom recommended installing 124' of WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement to collect any water that attempts to seep through the slab.
Our Installation Team began by chipping out concrete from the perimeter of the basement. After the concrete was removed the team then used then laid 124' of WaterGuard against all 4 walls in the basement. The team linked together the WaterGuard to the existing TripleSafe and made sure to test that any water in the perimeter drain will be guided to the sump pump. After the water test was complete, the team then mixed up some concrete and encased the WaterGuard in concrete to lock it in place.
