Photo Album: Sagging Floors, Kingston, NH

A homeowner in Kingston, New Hampshire, had moved into their home 3 years ago and had noticed the floors in their home were sagging. The homeowner had seen the floors sink even more and more over the past couple of years. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection of the supports in their crawlspace. Our Design Specialist Isaac inspected the crawlspace and recommended installing SmartJacks to lift and level the floors above the crawlspace.  Our installation team began by removing the old supports in the crawlspace. Once removed the team installed 5 SmartJacks to the main beam in the crawlspace. After the first 5 SJs were attached to the main beam, the team then began to install the other 5 to a supplemental beam. The team first made footings for each SmartJack to rest on then propped up our Supplemental beam and attached the SmartJacks to the beam. After they were secured the team then used the adjustable tops of the SmartJacks to lift and level the entire floor system.
