Photo Album: Big Storm Flooded Basement, Methuen, MA
A homeowner in Methuen, Massachusetts, has lived in their home since 1999 and recently had some of their personal belongings damaged in a flood in their basement. The homeowners would like to protect their home from this happening again. They decided to reach out to EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist James recommended installing a Perimeter Drainage System into their basement to prevent the basement from flooding again.
Our Installation Team began by chipping out concrete to install our TripleSafe and WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. Our team first installed our TripleSafe flush with the slab in the basement. After the system was installed in the basement, the team then began plumbing the drainage lines to the exterior of the home where our team installed 2 IceGuards and a 15' Exterior Discharge Line. After the sump pump was fully installed the team then began installing 130' of WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. The team connected each section on WaterGuard to each other and then connected the WaterGuard to the TripleSafe so any water that enters the system will be directed to the sump pump. After everything was installed the team then mixed up some concrete and poured it over the WaterGuard and around the base of the TripleSafe.

The team installed 2 IceGuard and 15' of Exterior Discharge Line.
