Photo Album: Cracking and Sinking Garage Slab, Stoughton, MA
A homeowner in Stoughton, Massachusetts, had built their home 26 years ago. In the past 5 years or so, the owners have noticed the slab in the garage was sinking and cracking. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their garage. Our Design Specialist Keith recommended installing and injecting PolyLevel beneath the slab to lift it back to level and then sealing the cracks and control joints with NexusPro.
Our installation team began by drilling small holes in the slab so we inject PolyLevel beneath the slab. Before we could inject the PolyLevel the team cleaned out the crack using a grinder and a Sawzall to get rid of any debris in the crack. After the crack was cleaned, the team then started injecting the PolyLevel and lifted the sunken section back to level. After the concrete was leveled, the team then sealed the cracks and control joists with NexusPro.
