Photo Album: Basement Flooding During Heavy Rains, Middleton, MA
A homeowner in Middleton, Massachusetts, had lived in this home since 1984 and was now looking to sell the home. Before they could sell the home they would like to address the water entering the basement during heavy rains and the walls in the basement not looking well before they put the home on the market. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist Liam inspected the basement and recommended installing a perimeter drainage system and BrightWall to prevent water from collecting in the basement and brighten up the walls.
Our installation team began by installing the TripleSafe into the basement and plumbed the system out of the basement. On the outside, we installed our IceGuard and 10' drainage line to pump any water out of the basement. Next, the team began installing BrightWall and WaterGuard in the basement. The team placed the BrightWall on the wall first and then installed the WaterGuard over the bottom of the BrightWall. This will allow the WaterGuard to collect any water that travels down the wall. After all of the BrightWall and WaterGuard were installed the team mixed up concrete and poured concrete around the TripleSafe and over the WaterGuard.
