Photo Album: 1940s Basement Was Leaking, Manchester, NH
A homeowner in Manchester, New Hampshire, moved into their home in June 2021 and had seen their basement leaking water in two areas when there were heavy rains. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection of their basement to find where the water was entering the basement. Our Design Specialist Victor inspected the basement of the home and recommended installing 57' of WaterGuard, a TripleSafe, and 2 IceGuards connected to a 15' Exterior Drainage Line.
Our installation team began by installing our TripleSafe into the corner of the basement. The team plumbed the sump pump to the exterior of the home and attached the two IceGuards and a 15' exterior drainage line so the water can't re-enter the basement. Next, the team chipped out 57' of the perimeter in the front of the basement. After the concrete has removed the team then installed the WaterGuard and integrated it into the TripleSafe. Next, the team tested the system to make sure any water that flowed into the WaterGuard will be sent into the TripleSafe and then the TripleSafe will be sent the water out of the basement and out of the exterior drainage line in the front yard. After the test was complete the team then poured concrete over the WaterGuard and around the TripleSafe to lock them in place.
