A homeowner in Dover, New Hampshire, just purchased their home and has already seen water entering their basement. Part of the basement is finished but they plan on finishing more and want to solve the flooding issue before they start that process. The homeowners called EFS for a free inspection of their basement. Our Design Specialist John examined the basement and recommended installing a perimeter drainage system to collect any water that enters the basement. The perimeter drainage system includes 127' WaterGuard, TripleSafe, and 2 IceGuards.
Our installation team began by chipping out the basin for the TripleSafe sump. They installed the sump and plumbed it to the exterior of the home. Once outside, the team installed the 2 IceGuard and 10' of exterior drainage line so water cant re-enter the perimeter drainage system. After the sump was installed and plumbed, the team continued to chip around the perimeter of the basement to install the WaterGuard. Once the perimeter was chipped out the team installed the WaterGuard and performed a water test to make sure the water will enter the system and be brought to the TripleSafe and pumped out of the basement. After the team makes sure the system worked properly the team then poured concrete over the WaterGuard and around the TripleSafe.
