Photo Album: Homeowners Concerned With Radon Levels, Westford, MA
A homeowner in Westford, Massachusetts, has lived in their home for more than a decade. Since moving into their home in 2011 they have always been concerned with radon levels in the home but never tested the levels. Now one of the homeowners does a lot of work in the basement and they reached out to EFS about a radon mitigation system. The homeowners met with our Design Specialist James and he designed a Radon Mitigation System to be installed in the home.
Our installation team began by using a core drill to make an extraction point into the slab in the basement. The team then attached a series of PVC pipes from the extraction point to the exterior of the home. Once the PVC pipe was guided to the outside of the home the team then installed the radon fan to the side of the house and connected the PVC pipe. After the PVC pipe was connected the team used more PVC to vent the radon system above the roofline of the home.
