Photo Album: Water Entering Basement Through Foundation Crack, Rowley, MA
A homeowner in Rowley, Massachusetts, had a radon mitigation system installed into their home in 2022 by EFS. Almost a year later they had another issue that they would like to have EFS look at in their home. The homeowners have found three cracks in their basement, and one was actively leaking water. They called EFS and our Design Specialist Kenny recommended installing Crack Injection over the three cracks in the basement.
Our installation team began finding and cleaning the three cracks and prepped them for our two part Crack Injection process. The team then ran a grinder up and down the crack to clean it out. Next, the team placed out injection port over the crack before installing the first part of the Crack Injection. The team installed the first part over the crack and around the injection ports. Once installed over the entire crack the team then used the injection port to inject the foam into the crack. The foam spreads through the crack and then hardens to seal the crack shut. The team repeated this process two more times to the other cracks.
