Photo Album: Geolocks Installed on Cinder Block Foundation, Nashua, NH
A homeowner in Nashua, New Hampshire, has lived in their home for the past 5 years and a couple of months ago noticed a horizontal crack on one of their foundation walls. They have seen the crack on the cinder block wall get bigger and bigger over 5 months. The homeowner said the wall looks like it's being pushed inwards. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist recommended installing 7 Geolocks to the cinder block foundation to stabilize the foundation wall.
Our production team created a 6' deep trench in the side yard of the home. This trench will house one end of Geolocks where the other end with be installed against the interior foundation wall. The two Geolock plates were connected by a galvanized rod. To stabilize the wall the team tightened the Geolock Plates which will use the ground as an anchor to leverage straightening the wall.
