Photo Album: Water Intrusion in 1930s Basement, Rockport, MA
A homeowner in Rockport, Massachusetts, lives in a home that was built in the 1930s. For the past 2 years, they have seen water coming into their basement and wanted to find a permanent solution. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist Keith recommended installing a perimeter drainage system into the basement.
Our production team started by installing 76' of WaterGuard to the affected area of the basement. After the WaterGuard was installed the team then replaced the old sump with a TripleSafe. After the sump was installed, the team then plumbed the sump pump out of the basement. On the outside of the home, the team installed our IceGuard and then the exterior drainage line to expel water away from the foundation of the home. Lastly, the team installed our SaniDry dehumidifier next to the sump pump so we could connect the drainage line of the sump pump.
