Photo Album: Concerns with Floor Stability, Peabody, MA
This homeowner in Peabody, Massachusetts, had concerns with the stability of the floors in their home. The home was built in the early 1900s and they planned on selling the home in the future. They called EFS for a free inspection and our Design Specialist recommended installing 4 SmartJacks and 2 Supplemental beams into the basement.
Our team installed the SmartJacks in the basement with the supplemental beams. They locked the SmartJacks in place by setting the footing of the supports in concrete beneath the slab in the basement. The new supports have adjustable tops so the team can lift and level the floor if necessary.
