Photo Album: Foundation Cracks and Settlement, Manchester, NH
A homeowner in Manchester, New Hampshire, had lived in their home for the past 7 years. In the last few months, they have noticed some cracking and settling in their foundation. They decided to call the foundation experts in their area. Our Design Specialist James recommended installing Push Piers, Geolocks, and PolyLevel to the home to stabilize the foundation walls
Our production team began by exposing the footing to the foundation so we could install 5 Push Piers. The Push Piers will lift up the settled foundation and permanently stabilize it. Next, the team injected PolyLevel beneath the lifted basement slab. After the slab was lifted and the void was filled the team moved on to installing the Geolocks to the foundation wall that was cracked and leaning. The team installed 3 GeoLock’s and permanently stabilized the leaning foundation wall with the anchor system tied into the soils on the exterior of the wall. The team then sealed all of the cracks and placed monitors on some of the larger cracks so the homeowners will have peace of mind for years to come.
