Photo Album: Push Piers Installed Around Foundation, Exeter, NH
A homeowner in Exeter, New Hampshire, had lived in their home for the past 10 years but wanted to do some remodeling to their home. They wanted to finish the basement so they could install a huge model train set. Before they could do any basement remodeling, they wanted to ensure their foundation walls and floor were in good condition. The last they wanted was for their newly finished basement to get damaged due to settlement or structural concerns.
Our Design Specialist recommended installing Push Piers to stabilize the perimeter of the home, sealing cracks in the foundation with NexusPro, and lifting up the sunken basement slab with PolyLevel. Our specialist also recommended installing a SmartJack and a Concentric Pier inside the basement to add stability to the floor above where a beam was sagging.
The homeowner was looking for a permanent fix, and decided all the solutions mentioned were exactly what they were looking for. Over the course of a couple weeks, our production team expertly installed all the proposed solutions. The foundation was successfully stabilized, the cracks were all sealed, and with the void beneath the basement slab filled in, it was no longer at risk of causing a sloping or cracked basement floor. Lastly, with the SmartJack support column in place, the sagging beam they had was no longer going to be a problem. The homeowners can now continue with their basement remodeling project with absolute peace of mind.
