Photo Album: Home Under Contract Needed Helical Piers Installed, Bedford, NH
A homeowner in Bedford, New Hampshire, was in the process of purchasing the home but the home inspector flagged the home for foundation wall issues. The buyer of the home was still interested in purchasing the home from the seller but they had to work together to get the foundation repaired before the sale could go through. The seller and buyer agreed to call EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist Victor inspected the interior and exterior of the foundation and found some cracks that were concerning. Victor recommended installing Helical Piers.
Our production team first began by excavating along the front of the home foundation to expose it. The team exposed the foundation in order to install Helical Piers to support the foundation and prevent further damage. Our team used a hydraulic drive head to screw our Helical Piers into the soil below the home. After pressurizing the piers the team attached a Pier Bracket to the foundation of the home that will hold the pier at pressure and to the home. The team installed 12 Helical Piers and stabilized the Chimney. After all of the piers were installed, the team then backfilled all of the dirt.
