Photo Album: Water Leaking in Basement, Manchester, NH
A homeowner in Manchester, New Hampshire, had a sump pump system installed into their home by North East Basement Systems before they shut their doors. The homeowners were experiencing water entering their basements. So the homeowner tried to reach out to NEBS and they got redirected to EFS and booked an appointment with us. Our Design Specialist Victor looked at the system and where the water was entering the basement. Victor recommended installing 20' of WaterGuard attached to the existing sump pump and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
Our production team began by chipping out concrete against the wall where the wall was entering the basement. The team chipped out 20' along the wall and removed enough dirt to insert our WaterGuard into place. Once inserted into the small trench the team lightly covered the WaterGuard with crushed stone. The team made sure to link the WaterGuard to the sump pump so any water collected by the perimeter drain will be guided to the sump. After the drain was linked with the sump the team then mixed some concrete and covered the top of the WaterGuard. Now any water that enters the basement will enter the WaterGuard and be guided to the sump pump where it will be discharged.
