A homeowner in Methuen, Massachusetts, had purchased their home in 2011. At the time of purchase, they noticed cracks on the slab in the basement but weren't deterred from purchasing the home. Over a decade later the cracks in the basement slab have grown in number and in size. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection and our design specialist recommended using PolyLevel to fill any void under the slab and then seal all of the cracks with NexusPro.
Our production team began by drilling small portholes in the slab so they could inject the PolyLevel under the slab to fill the void. The team injected PolyLevel into each of the portholes to fill any void underneath the slab. After all of the voids were filled under the slab the team then used NexusPro to seal all of the cracks. With the installation of the PolyLevel and NexusPro, the slab in the basement was now stabilized and the cracks were now sealed.
