Photo Album: Late 1800s Home With Fieldstone Foundation Was Crumbling, Cambridge, MA
A homeowner in Cambridge, Massachusetts, had lived in a late 1800s home for the past 20 years. For a couple of years, they noticed the fieldstone foundation in their basement started crumbling. The homeowner decided it was the right time to reach out to a company about a repair to their issue. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection, and our design specialist recommended installing PolyLevel Wall Restoration to prevent the fieldstone foundation from crumbling.
Our team first made sure that everything was removed from the walls and then covered all personal belongings with tarps to protect them. Once everything was moved and protected the team began spraying Poly. The team covered the entire fieldstone foundation inside the basement with PolyLevel Wall Restoration. Once the Poly makes contact with the air it begins to expand. This allows it to seal any gaps in the fieldstone.
