A condo association in Nashua, New Hampshire, had some cracking and sinking in their walkways leading to tenants' condos. The condo association wanted to repair the walkway before anyone gets hurt by the sunken and cracked walkway. The condo association decided to call EFS for an inspection, and our design specialist recommended installing PolyLevel and NexusPro to lift, level, and seal the walkways.
First, our team will lift and level the concrete. To allow the PolyLevel to be effective, the team must drill small portholes through the concrete walkway. The portholes will allow the team to inject PolyLevel underneath the walkway and to slowly and precisely lift it. If a slab needs to be lifted more than an inch or two our team would try to use slab jacks to aid in lifting the slab. The slab jack will temporarily lift the slab to make a void underneath, the team will then spray PolyLevel into the void to lift the slab. Once the slabs were level the team then used NexusPro to seal any cracks on the walkway. A caulking gun was used to lay a bead of NexusPro across any cracks in the slab. The team then used caulking spoons to push and spread the NexusPro deep into the cracks to fully seal them. Once all of the cracks were sealed and the slabs were lifted and leveled the job was complete.

The walkway in front of this condo was cracked and sunken.
Slab Jacks to Assist Lifting Slab
The team used slab jacks to help lift and level the slab. PolyLevel was injected beneath the slab to lift and level the walkway.
Walkway Lifted, Leveled, and Sealed
After the team lifted and leveled the slab, they finished the project by sealing the cracks in the walkway with NexusPro.
