A homeowner in Nahant, Massachusetts, had some ledge in their basement that had been allowing moisture in. The homeowners wanted to control the humidity in their basement. Our design specialist recommended installing Drainage Matting, CleanSpace, Rim Joist Insulation, and a SaniDry in the basement.
The team started by laying down the Drainage Matting over the ledge. The team used CleanSpace tape to connect two long pieces of Drainage Matting. The matting will allow air and water to travel freely underneath it. Next, the team laid CleanSpace over the Drainage Matting to prevent moisture from the ledge from coming into the basement. After the CleanSpace was installed the team used Rim Joist Insulation to seal the edges of the CleanSpace. Lastly, a SaniDry is installed in the basement to lower the moisture in the air. The homeowners are very happy with the results of the project.

Drainage Matting Installed
The team installed Drainage Matting in the basement to allow for water and air to move underneath the matting.
CleanSpace and Rim Joist Insulation
The team first installed the CleanSpace over the Drainage Matting. Then after the CleanSpace was installed the team sprayed the edges of the CleanSpace with Rim Joist Insulation.
SaniDry Sedona
The last piece of the project was for the team to install the SaniDry Sedona in the basement.
