A homeowner in Gloucester, Massachusetts, had a home on the water. They had experienced cold floors and breezes coming through their home. Their crawlspace had fieldstone and block foundation walls and they would like to have them insulated. They reached out to EFS for a free inspection of their crawlspace. Our design specialist recommended insulating the dirt crawlspace with PolyLevel Wall Restoration.
Our production team first started by clearing debris out of the crawlspace. Next, the team used our Poly Truck to spray the fieldstone foundation wall with PolyLevel Wall Restoration. After the team insulated the crawlspace they began installing the SmartJacks under the main beam. Each SmartJack is set on top of an engineered fill that will support the SmartJack better than dirt can. The homeowner was happy they don't have to deal with cold feet and breezes coming through their floors anymore.
