Photo Album: Water Collects in Basement After Heavy Rain, Maynard, MA
A homeowner in Maynard, Massachusetts, had rainwater collecting on their basement floor after heavy rains. The home was built in 1903 and the homeowners have lived in the home for the past six years. The homeowners used the basement as storage and a laundry room and would like to stop the water from coming into the basement. Our design specialist examined the home and recommended installing a perimeter drainage system in the basement.
Our production team first installed WaterGuard around the entire perimeter of the basement. Following the perimeter drainage, the team installed two SuperSumps, one in the front left of the basement and the other in the back right. Connected to the sump pumps is the drainage line and the team installed an IceGuard to prevent the drainage line from backing up into the basement. The last item to be installed was the SaniDry. The team installed a high-strength dehumidifier in the basement to control the moisture in the air. The team was able to prevent water from collecting in the basement.
