Photo Album: CleanSpace Installation in Crawlspace, Bedford, NH
A homeowner in Bedford, New Hampshire, wanted their crawlspace encapsulated to prevent moisture from the earth from entering the home. The homeowner also wanted to insulate the crawlspace to improve the home's overall efficiency. Our design specialist Victor recommended fully encapsulating and insulating the crawlspace.
Our production team first cleared the crawlspace of all debris. After removing the debris, the team installed Drainage Matting over the floor of the crawlspace to create a space where water can travel under the matting. After the matting was put down the team installed TerraBlock on the floor and wall to insulate the crawlspace. Following the TerraBlock was installed the team began installing the CleanSpace. The CleanSpace was hung just below the rafters down the wall and across the floor to create a fully encapsulated area that won't allow moisture to penetrate through the barrier. Finally to finish the project the team installed an EverLast Door to seal the entrance to the crawlspace.
Entrance Into Crawlspace
The entrance into the crawlspace is normally boarded up with plywood.
Crawlspace Before
The crawlspace was a dirt-floored area in the home that consistently had high moisture.
Crawlspace Encapsulated
The team installed Drainage Matting, TerraBlock, and CleanSpace to encapsulate the crawlspace.
EverLast Door
The team installed an EverLast Door to seal off the entrance of the crawlspace to critters and insects.
