Photo Album: Section of Pool Deck Has Sunk, Worcester, MA
A homeowner in Worcester, Massachusetts, had a section of their pool deck that had sunk. The homeowner wanted to repair the pool deck before their pool party during labor day weekend. Our design specialist found the slab had sunk 4" and recommended injecting PolyLevel to lift the slab.
Our production team first drilled 1/2" holes in the slab. They then secured two ends of a chain to the concrete slab and use an I-beam and a bottle jack to lift the slab. The team creates a void using the slab jack. Once we have the void size we need the team filled it with PolyLevel to lift the slab. The team levels the concrete to match the slabs around the previously sunken slab.
Sunken Slab Before
The slab is sunken down 4" and needed to be lifted for their party on labor day.
Slab Jacks
The Slab Jacks are used to lift the slab so the team can inject PolyLevel under the slab.
