Photo Album: Severe Sagging In Main Floor, Concord, NH
A homeowner in Concord, New Hampshire, had concerns with the floors on the main level of their home. The home is 100 years old and the homeowner had seen steady sagging of the floor over the past couple years. Our design specialist examined the main level and the basement of the home. They found that the floor at its worst had settled 3". EFS recommended installing 7 SmartJacks in the basement to stabilize and level the floor above.
Our production team installed the SmartJacks in the basement and attached them to the beams above.

Footings Chipped and Poured
The team chipped out small sections of the basement slab and installed rebar and concrete and waited for it to cure.
SmartJacks Installed
The SmartJacks are installed on top of the footings and attached to the floor beams. Concrete is poured over the base of the SmartJacks to lock them in place.
