A homeowner in Concord, New Hampshire, was experiencing settlement in their foundation. The back of their property had a severe slope pitching away from the house. Our design specialist examined the property and inside the house and discovered that the slope at the back of the home had caused the settlement, as the soil around the home gradually slid away.
The EFS production crew installed Push Piers at the back of the home to address this settlement concern. The Push Piers effectively went down into the ground beneath the foundation walls until they reached depths with stable soils. The piers were then able to slightly lift and permanently stabilize the home. The homeowner was relieved that their forever home was repaired and warrantied for 25 years against any further settlement.
