Photo Album: Radon Mitigation System, Swampscott, MA

This homeowner in Swampscott, Massachusetts was experiencing high levels of radon in their half-finished basement. The levels in their basement are between 9-11 pCi/L. Our design specialist Michael Bradley recommended installing a radon mitigations system in the basement. Since the basement is half-finished and half storage Michael recommended having two extraction points to ensure that radon is removed from the entire basement.  Crew Lead Dillon Kingsbury and his team installed the radon system with both extraction points, one extraction point on the finished side of the basement and one on the unfinished side.  The homeowners were happy the radon levels were reduced.
