Photo Album: High Water Table Causing Water Issues, Hampstead, NH
This homeowner in Hampstead, New Hampshire, lives a couple of hundred feet from the edge of a lake. The homeowner has been living in this home for the past 25 years. The area around the home has a high water table because of the lake being close by. For a long time, the homeowner has had a sump pump in the basement, but in the past couple of years, the sump pump hasn't been able to keep the basement dry. The homeowner has other concerns in the basement as well. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
A Design Specialist inspected the basement. They found that the sump pump is outdated and isn't big enough to push out all of the water from the basement. The specialist found that some foundation wall issues should be addressed. For the waterproofing, the Design Specialist recommended installing WaterGuard, Sani Dry, Freeze Guard, Super Sump Triple Safe, and WaterGuard Port in the basement.
