Photo Album: Foundation Concerns 25 Years Later, Manchester, NH
This homeowner in Manchester, New Hampshire has been experiencing foundation issues at their home for the past 25 years. The homeowner believes now is the right time to have the foundation issues addressed. The homeowner decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa inspected the home and listened to the concerns of the homeowner. Michael recommended installing Push Piers to stabilize the foundation, EZ Post for the attached sunroom supports, and PolyLevel, concrete slab pour, and Crack Injection for the garage slab.
Crew Lead Chris Tremblay and his team installed several different products for this project. They installed interior and exterior mounted Push Piers, PolyLevel, Ez Posts, concrete slab pour, and Crack Injection.
Concrete Chipped Out
The team used a jackhammer to chip out sections of concrete to install the Push Pier brackets to the footing of the foundation.
Push Pier Installed
The team dug down to the footing of the foundation and attached the bracket. Then they used a hydraulic press to push 3-foot sections of the piers until the desired pressure is achieved.
The Holes are Filled
The team pushes the dirt that was taken out of the holes back in and then poured new concrete.
Ez Post Installed
The team installed 4 new Ez Posts under the sunroom.
