Photo Album: Homeowner Works for Hours in Basement and is Concerned with Radon, Windham, NH
This homeowner in Windham, New Hampshire had recently learned of the harmful effects of radon. The homeowner would work for long periods in the basement and now they are concerned with how long they stay in the basement because of radon. They decided to call EFS for a free inspection. A representative from EFS came to the home before their scheduled appointment and dropped off a radon test.
Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa inspected the home and then went over the results of the radon test with the homeowners. The radon levels in the home are 4.2 pCi/L which is slightly higher than recommended. Michael recommended installing a radon mitigation system in the home.
Crew Lead Dillon Kingsbury and his team installed the radon mitigation system into the home and were able to lower the radon levels to a comfortable level.
