Photo Album: Air Quality Concerns in Basement, West Newbury, MA
This homeowner in West Newbury, Massachusetts has children that play in the basement frequently. Recently the homeowners became worried about radon and the effects radon can have. The homeowner was thinking of finishing the basement in the next year or two so they thought a radon system would be a good thing to look into. They decided to get a radon test done in their home. The results of the test came back around 4.2 pCi/L. They decided to call EFS for some more information.
Design Specialist Michael Bradley inspected the home for cracks and avenues for radon to seep into the home. He didn't find any cracks in the basement which is a good sign. He recommended installing a radon mitigation system into the basement of the home.
Crew Lead Dillon Kingsbury and his team arrived at the home and installed the radon mitigation system into the home.
