Photo Album: Water Ruined Finished Part of Basement, Methuen, MA
This homeowner in Methuen, Massachusetts had an issue where water was collecting in the basement. The water was ruining the finished section of the basement. The basement had a sump pump but the sump had randomly stopped working. The homeowners are looking for a permanent repair option. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
Design Specialist Tom Armano inspected the basement. Tom found some cracks in the foundation where the water was coming in. Tom recommended installing a new sump pump with a Water Guard along the entire perimeter of the basement and an Ice Guard into the basement.
Crew Lead Nick Carelli and his team arrived at the home and installed the Super Sump, Water Guard, and Ice Guard into the basement.

Obstructions
The crew had to maneuver around things like water heaters and walls to install some of our solutions.
Freeze Guard and drain pipe are installed
The Freeze Guard will act as an overflow valve if the drainage pipe ever freezes. The water will be able to escape and not back up into the basement.
