Photo Album: Water Entering Crawlspace, Newburyport, MA
This homeowner in Acton, Massachusetts was experiencing a large crack in his brick foundation wall. The homeowner travels for business and doesn't want to worry about the problem getting worse when he is away. He decided to call EFS for a free inspection.
Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa inspected the interior and exterior of the home. Michael confirmed that there is a large crack on the brick foundation wall. Michael explained to the homeowner that a crack this size on a brick or block foundation wall can diminish the integrity of the wall. Michael recommended demolishing the cracked wall and building a new block foundation wall.
Crew Lead Branden Edwards and his team arrived at the home. They prepped the area with support posts and demolished the wall. After the team cleaned up the demoed wall, they began building the new block foundation wall.
Before CleanSpace
This is what the crawlspace looked like before CleanSpace.
After CleanSpace
The Drainage Matting is installed first. Then CleanSpace is placed on top and used to seal the crawlspace.
Smart Drains are Installed
Under both the Drainage Matting and the CleanSpace are 2 Smart Drains that will suck up water and push it away from the home.
