Photo Album: Severe Cracking of Foundation, Nashua, NH
Elizabeth C. of Nashua, New Hampshire is planning to move to Florida with her husband to retire. Before they can fully retire and leave for Florida they have to sell their current house in Nashua. At their Nashua home, they have been experiencing some severe cracking in their foundation. Elizabeth decides to call Erickson Foundation Solutions about a free estimate.
Senior Design Specialist Michael LaMalfa arrived at the home and inspected the foundation. Michael found that the cracking in the foundation was caused by settlement. Michael recommended that EFS install Geolocks, Helical Piers, and Push Piers to stop the home from settling further.
Crew Lead Scott Crandall and his team were the first to arrive at the home. His team first started by installing Geolocks and Push Piers into the garage at the front right of the home. Then after those were installed the team moved on to install more Geolocks to the front of the home. After the second set of Geolocks were installed Crew Lead Nick Carelli and his crew arrived at the home to help Scott and his team install 20+ Piers. After both crews finished the Piers, they began sealing all of the cracks in the foundation.
