Photo Album: Cracks in Basement Floor Caused by Settlement, Bedford, NH
Matt M. of Bedford, New Hampshire was experiencing cracks in his basement floor since he moved into his home in 2007. The cracks haven't gotten any worse but they are still concerned about the stability of the home. Matt has contacted two other contractors before calling Erickson Foundation Solutions.
Design Specialist John Merna arrived at the home and inspected the basement. John found all the cracks in the basement and he suspected that they were caused by settlement. John noticed that one corner of the basement had settled about 3/4". John recommended that Matt install Push Piers onto his foundation.
Scott Crandall and his crew arrived at the home and began digging and exposing the footing of the home. After the foundation was exposed the team installed 6 Push Piers to the corner of the home.
