Photo Album: Foundation Stabilization and Waterproofing, Auburn, NH
This home in Auburn, NH had an older stone foundation that was losing it's integrity. When it comes to repairing fieldstone type foundations, it's important not to disrupt the stones too much, as there is the risk the entire wall will become compromised and fail.
For these types of situations and foundations, Erickson Foundation Solutions proposes installation of PowerBraces and an auxiliary wall, which is essentially a newly poured, steel bar reinforced foundation wall. The auxiliary wall is installed in front of the stone foundation wall in question, and will prevent the wall from bowing in or crumbling any further.
This project also entailed installation of a vapor barrier along some of the walls in the basement. These walls were allowing moisture and humidity into the basement, and so the barrier would direct the water towards a sump pump system.

The barrier ensures any moisture coming through the wall will directly lead to the sump pump system.

The vapor barrier system is clean and efficient.
