Harry T. of Amesbury, Massachusetts has been living in their home for the past 50 years. Since the year he moved in they have had a leak in the basement. After all those years Harry decided they were done having water come into their basement. They decided to call Erickson to set up an appointment.
Design Specialist Royce Potts came to the home and inspected the basement and the outside foundation. Royce found a crack at the point where the wall meets the floor and water is seeping through. Royce proposed that Erickson install 75' of Fast Drain and 2 Super Sumps with battery backup to help to navigate the water out of the basement.
Crew Lead Branden Edwards and his team came to the home and installed the Fast Drain and 2 Super Sumps into the basement. Harry could tell right away that the combination of Fast Drain and Super Sump was going to work great for the basement.
Basement Before Fast Drain and Super Sump
Before Fast Drain and Super Sump, this basement would have water seep through a crack in the floor and collect on the floor.
Collection Point
This is where the water would start collecting and then would build up and get all over the floor.
Fast Drain and First Super Sump Installed
The Fast Drain is installed under that wet-looking concrete and gives the water a place to drain to and the Super Sump sucks up any standing water that enters the basement.
Second Super Sump
This is the area where they put the second Super Sump along with more Fast Drain.
