Before Work Began
The home was being held up by wooden posts mounted in the ground by cement. The cement has been sinking into the ground by the weight of the structure.
After
The supports are still wooden by they are now secured by helical piers that are screwed into the ground and can withstand far more weight than the old concrete anchored posts.

Smart Jacks
While the helical piers were installed on the perimeter of the room, Smart Jacks were installed right down the center of the room to give added support to the middle of the bonus room.
