This homeowner in Merrimack, New Hampshire had a loud radon fan that was located under their bedroom. The fan is more noticeable during the night when the homeowners are trying to sleep. They decided to call Erickson Foundation Supportworks about fixing their radon system even though they didn't initially install the system in their home.
Crew lead Chris Hanulec went out to the homeowner's property to look at the Radon System. Upon inspection, Chirs noticed that the radon system fan was installed indoors. Most radon systems have the fan installed outdoors, as noise and vibration can sometimes be a concern. Chris decided to re-route the system and the system fan to the outside of the house. This would ensure if the fan makes noise the homeowners wouldn't be able to hear it through the exterior walls.
The homeowners were happy to know that the fan would no longer make loud noise under their bedroom.
